Attention
N.A.B.A. Members & Friends, At
the January 9th, 2010 BOD meeting, the board decided to replace
our current web site – “www.nababuckskin.com” with a new
one, as the old site did not meet the new administrations' standards as an
information sharing tool. David

The North Atlantic Buckskin Association (NABA)
is an official Charter Club of the International Buckskin Horse Association
(IBHA) covering the states of New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut
and Rhode Island. IBHA is the largest Buckskin Registry in the World. NABA was
incorporated in 1973 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of
the Buckskin, Dun, Red Dun and Grulla horses.
NABA hosts horse shows throughout the year
where people can show their IBHA registered horses for national points.
Although NABA is primarily a color breed, we
offer an extensive Open Division. Everything from Showmanship to Pleasure to
Barrels! Open classes are open to all Breeds and all Colors. You do not have to
be a NABA member to enter any of these classes at the shows. But, if you would
like to compete for Year End Awards, you need to join NABA.
NABA offers "Hours on the Trail", a
trail riding program which offers a Year End Award for the High Point Adult and
Youth riders. Once you sign up, you will receive a log sheet to keep track of
your hours. All log sheets must be sent in by the end of September and winners
will be announced at the Awards Banquet.
Hope you will join us for an exciting 2010 Show Season!
